It seems like the parade of entrances and exits in the famous fashion houses is going to continue.
Salvatore Ferragamo announced that Massimiliano Giornetti has left the brand as creative director after 16 years of working partnership. Giornetti joined the Italian fashion house in 2000, working with the men’s apparel design team. And in 2011 he took control of both men’s and women’s design. The reason of such an unexpected decision is unknown.
But it’s interesting that the fashion house is in no hurry to find a successor to Giornetti. Michele Norsa, the group chief executive of Salvatore Ferragamo, said that the brand will rely on an internal design team.
